Dilwale distributors get compensation from Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale performed well overseas, but the film was way below-the-mark at the domestic box office as it finished with lifetime business of Rs 148 crore. The film was not only criticised for its flaws but also faced several obstacles in its release due to SRK's 'intolerance' controversy which hampered its overall collections.
Though the movie made over 140 crores in India and was a high grosser in international markets, it claimed to be a loss for several distributors. But word is that Shah Rukh has taken the onus of theses losses upon himself and decided to make it right. Film trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted that King Khan will be repaying half of the amount to the distributors.
@iamsrk does what few wud do. Refunds 50% of the loss of distributors of his Dilwale. That's what u call a considerate producer!

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Dilwale released with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani during the lucrative Christmas weekend.
