Aamir Khan's Dangal crosses 100 cr mark in China, breaks PK record
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's Dangal has entered into the 100 crore-mark within four days of its release in China, breaking a record previously set by the actor-producer's PK.
Dangal, a story of a wrestler who trains his daughters to turn universe champions in wrestling, expelled in China as Shuai Jiao Baba on May 5 that means Let’s Wrestle, Dad. The film expelled in around 7,000 screens and minted over Rs 120 crore by Tuesday evening, pronounced a orator of Aamir Khan Productions. The film features Aamir in the lead, besides Sakshi Tanwar, debutantes Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar playing pivotal parts. In China 'Dangal' was released as 'Shuai Jiao Baba', which means 'Let's Wrestle, Dad'.
'Dangal' has broken Aamir's 'PK' record of minting Rs 100 crore in China. It made the money in 16 days becoming the first ever Bollywood film to mint such a huge moolah there. 'PK' released in 2015.
