Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam which hit the screens on Friday opened to great reviews from both audience and critics alike. The film is doing spectacular business at the Box Office. CCV released in Telugu as Nawab. 

Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu has heaped praises on the film on his Twitter page. He has also asked his fans to watch the film in theatres apart from calling it as a 'classic' from the master director Mani Ratnam.

The movie touted to be socio-political drama stars Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Aravind Swami and Arun Vijay in pivotal roles. The female star cast includes Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa among others. Music by A.R. Rahman. The film is produced by Madras Talkies and will be presented by Lyca Productions.
