Thalaivar 170 (tentative title) is Superstar Rajinikanth's next big film, and the movie's official cast and crew is currently in the process of being revealed by the filmmakers. After Lyca Productions, the banner bankrolling Thalaivar 170 unveiled the movie's female leads to be Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh and Manju Warrier, they have now announced that popular Telugu actor-producer Rana Daggubati is onboard. 

Thalaivar 170 is all set to begin shooting this month, and word has it the team will be filming first at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. An official announcement on the same is however awaited. TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim (2021) fame is the writer, director of Thalaivar 170. The movie has Anirudh for music.
