Thalaivar 170 (tentative title) is actor Rajinikanth's next as a lead, and the film written and directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim (2021) fame has begun shooting today. A Lyca Productions venture, Thalaivar 170 is a multi-starrer and will see Rajinikanth in the role of a Muslim police officer who combats fake encounters in his department.
