If buzz in the Malayalam media is anything to go by then actor Rajinikanth will be in Trivandram, Kerala tomorrow i.e. March 21, 2024 for the shooting of his upcoming movie Vettaiyan. Rajini reportedly will be staying at the Hyatt Regency in Thiruvananthapuram for the next two weeks. Incidentally, actor Vijay is also currently put up at the same hotel, as he is in Kerala for the shooting of his upcoming film The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT).

It has been long since Rajinikanth and Vijay shared the same shooting spot, much less the same hotel for an extended period of time. This has piqued hopes of a photograph of the two stars together, as one saw with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan when they reunited after 20+ years at the same studio for Vettaiyan and Indian 2 respectively.

Or with Ajith and Vijay, when they shared shooting locations during Mankatha and Velayudham in 2011. Interestingly Vijay is currently working with director Venkat Prabhu on The GOAT, who was directing Mankatha when the iconic Ajith, Vijay picture happened.
