Vyjayanthi Movies, the production banner behind Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD have officially updated that the movie's global box-office collections has exceeded Rs. 1000 Cr. Talking to their social media accounts, the jubilant producers of the Telugu film wrote, 

"1000 CRORES and counting… This milestone is a celebration of your love. We poured our hearts into this film, and you embraced it with open hearts. Thank you to the audience across the world  #Kalki2898AD #1000CroreKalki."

A Nag Ashwin directed sci-fi action, based on Hindu mythological lores of the Mahabharata and Kali Yuga, Kalki 2898 AD released in theaters on June 27, 2024. Which means that the movie has managed to achieve the Rs. 1000 Cr milestone in just 16 days of its release. 

Kalki 2898 AD's ensemble includes Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, among others. The movie with Santhosh Narayanan for music, is gearing up for an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video in  Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
