Andhagan: The Pianist starring actor Prashanth in the lead has released in theaters today. Early reviews of the movie by critics, and the response from the general audience has been hugely positive. Andhagan is being hailed as a 'neat remake', and with engaging performances from all the artists, and fitting music by Santhosh Narayanan.

Andhagan has Prashanth playing Krish, a blind pianist who becomes privy to an aftermath of an actor's (Karthik) murder. Krish's conscience urges him to report the crime he has technically not ‘witnessed’, but that leads him to be embroiled in the murder itself. How Krish faces this situation, is what forms the rest of the story. 

Also starring Simran, Samuthirakani, Priya Anand, Urvashi, KS Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Manobala, Leela Samson, Vanitha Vijayakumar among others, Andhagan is directed and produced by veteran actor and Prashanth's father Tiyagarajan. The movie is a remake of the Hindi black comedy hit Andhadhun (2018), with story by Sriram Raghavan.
