Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth in the lead is an upcoming multi-starrer that is scheduled to release on October 10, 2024 for Dusshera. The film's first single Manasilaayo featuring Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier who play husband-wife in Vettaiyan, is out now.

Manasilaayo has lyrics by Vishnu Edavan, Super Subu, and has vocals of late Malaysia Vasudevan recreated through AI. Malaysia Vasudevan's voice is appearing on a Rajinikanth movie after 27 years with Vettaiyan. Anirudh Ravichander, Malaysia Vasudevan's son Yugendran Vasudevan, and singer Deepthi Suresh are the other singers of the Manasilaayo song. Manasilaayo is choreographed by Dinesh master.

Sundar, among others. Sony Music label holds the audio rights to this movie, which is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim (2021), Kootathil Oruthan (2017) fame.
