Kanguva release date: Suriya, Bobby deol starrer to hit theater screens in 3D

As previously reported, actor Suriya lead revenge action film Kanguva is headed for a November 14, 2024 release in theaters. While an official announcement on the same is still awaited, it is now more likely than less that Kanguva release date is November 14 i.e. the Thursday before the Guru Nanak Gurpurab weekend.


Also starring Bobby Deol, Disha Patani among others, Kanguva: A Mighty Valiant Saga is written and directed by Siva, and produced by Studio Green, UV Creations on a massive budget. Kanguva is set to release in 3D, and standard formats. 

 

Kanguva's story travels 500 years from the 1700's to the present timeline, and is about a hero (Suriya) who has to fulfill a mission left unfinished. Kanguva trailer showcased Suriya and Bobby Deol belonging to rival tribe clans residing on an island, and Suriya aka Kanguva's clan falling prey to the torture of the Spartans.

Previously director Siva had said of Kanguva, "The eagle you see (in the Kanguva videos) is very crucial to the film's story.... there are around seven sequences where the 3D is going to be spectacular....the artwork of Kanguva has been crafted in giant laboratory-like spaces, and I can’t wait for the audience to see it,”
