KVN Productions, a Bengaluru-based film banner that predominantly is into Telugu and Kannada movies, have now officially announced Thalapathy 69 (tentative title) as their fifth production, and first movie in Tamil. Since Thalapathy 69 is actor, politician Vijay's last movie before he becomes the CM hopeful of his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party, KVN Productions unveiled a touching tribute video honouring Vijay's last 30 years in the showbiz

An official announcement on the project Thalapathy 69 itself will be out on September 14, 2024 at 5 PM. 

H. Vinoth is directing Thalapathy 69, marking his debut collaboration with actor Vijay. Thalapathy 69's ensemble is touted to have Simran, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Mohanlal, among others. The technical crew of Thalapathy 69 is said to have Anirudh for music, Sathyan Sooryan for cinematography.
