Thalapathy 69 (tentative title) is actor Vijay's last movie before his full fledged political entry, and KVN Productions officially confirmed on Friday that they are producing the film as their fifth production. A H. Vinoth directorial. Thalapathy 69 currently awaits its first official update on September 14, 2024 at 5 PM. 

At this time, buzz has it that Bollywood actor Bobby Deol who is making his Tamil debut with the Suriya starrer Kanguva, is playing villain to Vijay too in Thalapathy 69. Beast actress Pooja Hegde is also said to be reuniting with Vijay in Thalapathy 69. 

In addition to Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde, actors Simran, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Mamitha Baiju, Mohanlal have been said to be part of the Thalapathy 69 cast. An official announcement on the same is however awaited. Thalapathy 69 has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Sathya Sooriyan, stunts by Anl Arasu, and edits by Pradeep E Raghav.

Thalapathy 69 begins shooting in October, 2024, and reportedly filming will begin with a song shoot in Chennai.
