Good Bad Ugly starring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead is an upcoming Adhik Ravichandran directorial that is currently being filmed. A Mythri Movie Makers production, Good Bad Ugly is scheduled for a Pongal 2025 release, but recently another Ajith movie, Vidaamuyarchi has been rescheduled to release in January for the same Pongal slot.

Suggestions of Good Bad Ugly also getting postponed lurk, and it is being said that the new Good Bad Ugly release date is May 1 2025, i.e. the Thursday Ajith celebrates his 54th birthday. Official announcements on the same however await. Good Bad Ugly aims to release simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Character actor Rahul Dev, who primarily plays villains in Hindi and Telugu movies, is a recent addition to Good Bad Ugly's ensemble. Ajith and Rahul Dev had famously shared screen space in the hit commercial action Vedalam (2015), and Good Bad Ugly marks their reunion after 8 years.

Good Bad Ugly has Devi Sri Prasad for music. The technical crew of the movie also includes Abinandhan Ramanujam for cinematography, Vijay Velkutty for edits. Contrary to popular belief, filmmaker turned actor SJ Suryah who debuted in the movies by directing the Ajith starrer Vaalee (1999), is not part of Good Bad Ugly.
