Brother starring Jayam Ravi in the lead is scheduled to release in theaters on October 31, 2024 marking Diwali. 5 years since his last comedy release Comali (2019), Jayam Ravi leads this comedy drama which is written and directed by M. Rajesh.

1. Genre: Brother is a harmless family entertainer. The movie as the title suggests, is set in a family where a brother-sister relationship forms the core of the story. The comedy drama makes for a good time-pass watch with family, this festive season. 

 

2. Refreshing Jayam Ravi: After doing six back to back movies of serious, action roles, Jayam Ravi is back to being the breezy lead in Brother. Jayam Ravi's audience has always liked him in family oriented comedy dramas like M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi (2004), and Santhosh Subramaniam (2008). Brother is expected to be in this same vein. 

 

3. Harris Jayaraj: After a long gap, music composer Harris Jayaraj is back with his signature soft tunes, and they work too in this current day and age where EDM is the go-to.
