It has been officially updated by Amaran producers Raaj Kamal Films International, that the Sivakarthikeyan starrer Major Mukund biopic, has grossed Rs. 42.3 Crores worldwide on day 1 of its box-office collections. Amaran's overseas collections on opening day was Rs. 11.1 Cr, which means that in India, the Sivakarthikeyan starrer grossed Rs. 31.2 Cr. on day 1 box-office.
