Kanguva starring actor Suriya in the lead is an upcoming epic action that is all set to release in theaters worldwide on November 14, 2024. Written and directed by Siva, the movie will be out in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, in standard and 3D formats. 

Five reasons to watch Kanguva in theaters this Thursday/ Children's day:

1. Suriya: 2 years and 8 months since his last lead role release, actor Suriya is coming to theaters with Kanguva. And if that isn't reason enough to catch the film, we are getting dual Suriya as a modern day shadow cop named Francis "Frankie" Theodre, and as a righteous ancient warrior named Kanga. 

2. Bang for the buck: From its Rs. 350 Cr+ production value, to the grandeur of its visuals, a multi-starrer cast with names like Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and a whole range of familiar Tamil faces, to its epic-fantasy genre, Kanguva promises a value for money experience in its 2 hours and 34 minutes of runtime.  The film is directed by Siva, who is known for churning out popcorn entertainers. 

3. Story: Makers promise that Kanguva is as much emotional story, as it is an action film. Official plotline reveals that the Goa based shadow cop Frankie finds his fate inexplicably linked to the fearless ancient warrior Kanga. Kanguva release trailer further reveals that Frankie is Kanga's modern day reincarnate, and he must fulfill a centuries-old promise. 

4. Technicals: From Devi Sri Prasad's elevating music, to Vetri Palanisamy's sharp cinematography, slick action choreographed by Supreme Sundar, to an elaborate production design by Milan, Kanguva comes packed with strong technicals. Additionally, the film has dialogues by Madan Karky, and song lyrics by Viveka, Madan Karky. 

5. Kanguva Cameo, Sequel: It is pretty much an open secret by now that actor Karthi, Suriya's real life brother, plays a cameo in Kanguva. Karthi's special appearance in the movie is said to be a precursor to Kanguva's sequel, and that is an exciting enough reason for the movie to be watched in theaters. 

Kanguva is jointly produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, and UV Creations is also the distributor of Kanguva in Telugu states. Abi & Abi Entertainment, Sakthi Film Factory are releasing Kanguva in Tamil Nadu, KVN Productions is releasing the film in Karnataka, and Sree Gokulam Movies, Dream Big Films in Kerala. Kanguva's North India release is by Pen Studios, and overseas release is by Phars Films. Prathyangira Cinemas is presenting Kanguva in North America i.e. USA and Canada.
