Vikram starrer Thangalaan is a period action adventure written and directed by Pa. Ranjith with GV Prakash for music. The movie released in theaters on August 15, 2024, and for reasons best known to the makers had not made its digital premiere for a long time on Netflix. 

KE Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green, the banner that produced Thangalaan with director Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions, has now announced the arrival of Thangalaan on Netflix. Thangalaan's OTT release date is December 10, 2024 (Tuesday). 

The movie is available to stream in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages with English subtitles. Thangalaan revolves around a tribal leader, who in order to defeat an oppressive landlord, joins a British explorer in a risky search for gold in terrain protected by a feared mystical force.

Also starring Parvathy, Malavika Mohanan, Daniel Caltagirone, Pasupathy, among others, Thangalaan comes with a runtime of 2 hours and 28 minutes. The movie is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith.
