Hindi language short film Anuja written, and directed by Adam J Graves has been nominated for 'Best Live Action Short Film' at the 97th Academy Awards also known as the Oscars 2025. On Makar Sankranti this year, it was officially announced that Anuja's OTT release will be on the Netflix streaming platform. However Anuja is yet to make its digital premiere in India.

With a runtime of 22 minutes, Anuja revolves around a 9-year-old girl, who works in a garment factory in Delhi. When Anuja (Sajda Pathan) is given a rare opportunity to attend school, she faces a heart-wrenching choice that impacts her and her sister Palak’s (Ananya Shanbhag) future.
Anuja is produced by Indian non-profit and non-governmental organizations like Salaam Baalak Trust, Shine Global, along with Graves Films, Krushan Naik Films, Mindy Kaling, Guneet Monga (executive producer), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (executive producer), among others.

The short film has Fabrizio Mancinelli for music, Akash Raje for cinematography, Krushan Naik, Adam J Graves for edits. Anuja first premiered at the Hollyshorts Film Festival on August 12, 2024.
