Kannadi Poove, the first single from upcoming Tamil movie Retro has now released, and it features lead actor Suriya as a prisoner with a heart-break. The soulful Kannadi Poove composed and sung by Santhosh Narayanan got a lyric video release on Thursday, and it features glimpses of the actual music video along with its behind-the-scenes. 

Kannadi Poove definitely grows on the ears, and the song has lyrics by Vivek, choreography by Sherif M. Pooja Hegde plays Suriya's love interest in Retro, and she features via pictures in the song. 

Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro releases on May 1, 2025. T-series music label holds the audio rights to Retro, which is a joint production venture of Jyotika-Suriya's 2D Entertainment, and Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films.
