Good performances , stressful outcome
Kamalhassan's intention to make a warm, funny and feel-good Anbe Sivam has ended up sadly as another predictable and corny film. Why would Kamal make him self so ugly?
The film, in fact, suffers from the disease of excess. Director C Sundar is invisible. Madhavan performs to the standards he has set himself. His breezy presence enlivens otherwise dull moments. Overall, the film tries to do too many things, and ends up failing at most, if not all, of them.(more)
