Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol may not be a spectacular follow up act to Vellimoonga from Jibu Jacob, but it's a film that offers wholesome entertainment for the family. Ultimately that makes a lot of difference and perhaps that is why the film would find easy acceptance as well.(more)

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol Movie Review

Bijibal's background score keeps the family entertainer from being over melodramatic while also sustaining the feel-good mood throughout. Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol is one of the better family-oriented movies to come out in Mollywood in a long time and is worth watching..(more)

Mohanlal film is an extraordinary story of an ordinary family

Everyone in the film has given a convincing performance while Mohanlal and Meena have performed their roles with maturity and nuance. Dont miss to watch this slice-of-life film unless theatres are on strike again.(more)

A watchable family movie for Mohanlal & Meena's performances.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is on the lower side despite being handled by two State Award winning music directors. Bijibal has composed the background music and two songs in the movie. M Jaya chandran has composed the other two songs. All the songs are nice but not as special as one would expect from the two top class music directors. Cinematography by Pramod K Pillai is average and has no extra beauty to lift the movie to the next level.(more)
