Average film from Lokesh.. A crude copy of Nammavar and Thimuru Pudichavan. No clarity in screenplay and songs are waste in general. Horrible BgM from Anirudh.
A good film which takes its own sweet time to establish conflicts and thrills. Some scenes in the second half are wildly impalusible,ie, the scenes with coroner. The film has a brisk pacing and manages to engage.However it is a shade lower than the original, as it is from the point of view of the police and reminiscent of 'Kutram: Nadanthathu Enna'series telecast in TV.
The reviews are correct in some ways.. but the film emphasises the value of a family through the protagonist's trails and misgivings. I was really shocked in one scene whether VTV Ganesh's character pawns his wife's jewels for want of money without her approval.. but these things happen in real life as well to some people. Only thing that lacks interest and clarity is Santhanam's characterisation.
